ScanSlide Software

ScanSlide is simple to handle and a powerful tool to scan masses of slides. It is written exclusively for SlideMagic and is devided in 4 sections. Each of those is supporting the customer for individual purposes, which are:

Thumbnail mode

The thumbnail mode is a great tool to document the content of your magazines. This Software provides a fast and full scan of all slides in the tray. The pictures get saved as jpg-files and have a size of 120 x 90 pixels. This low resolution saves a lot of memory on the hard drive. With any thumbnail viewer program this format gives the customer an overview, which slide is in which slot.

Scan-all mode

Scan-all mode scans the slide of the entire magazins in XGA resolution (1024 x 768). Just push the start button and all the slides get scanned fast and effectively onto your harddrive. After scanning, the pictures can be used for all kinds of purposes, such as the presentation program "Platinum", which allows real smooth fadings between the high resolution pictures.

Scan-select mode

This is the most complex mode in the ScanSlide software. It enables you to preview the slides in the tray. You can decide now if you want the individual slide to be scanned or not. In addition you can correct each slide individually such as zoom, brightness or focus. On top of that the slide can be flipped horizontally and vertically in case it was put in the tray incorrectly. After all these adjustments you only need to push the scan button and all the selected slides with their individual corrections get scanned onto your hard drive in XGA quality (1024 x 768 pixels).
